Millions of children worldwide are growing up without biological parents. In California, there are nearly 60,000 children who need a home for a short time or a lifetime—the number has tripled in the last 20 years.
The statistics are staggering, but God has a loving plan for each child, and His plan includes us. Compassion and involvement are our response to the love God has shown us.
Here in Orange County there are over 2,000 children in the foster care system. Therefore there is a significant need for loving and trustworthy individuals, couples, and families to help care for these hurting and often forgotten children. Please check out the list of local organizations that can offer information, training, and support for those interested in giving these children a stable home and family.
